Please note:
- Take your child's temperature each morning and record it in the communication notebook.
- Please tell us at drop-off if your child has received a vaccination.
- Inform us in advance of any ongoing conditions, such as allergies, seizures or dislocations.
- We will contact you if your child's condition changes.
- Depending on the symptoms, we may ask you to collect your child early, for example with a fever of 37.5°C or above.
- Please keep your child at home if they have an infectious illness.
- A doctor's recovery certificate is required before returning after an infectious illness.
- Please also inform us if a family member has an infectious illness.
Requests to administer medicine
Administering medicine is a medical act and, as a general rule, the nursery
cannot undertake it.
If bringing medicine is unavoidable
(We may be unable to accept some requests.)
① Complete the medication communication form and hand it to staff together with the medicine.
② We cannot accept medicines brought at a parent's own discretion.
③ Label the form and single dose with your child's name and hand them to staff.
Bring only the amount needed that day. Eye drops and ointments may be kept for one week at a time.
④ We cannot administer a medicine your child has never used before.
⑤ Medicines such as suppositories that require assessment of symptoms are handled according to specific written instructions from the child's doctor or nursery physician. Before use, we will also report the child's condition to the parent and confirm whether to proceed.
* Medication communication forms are available at the nursery and must be completed by a parent or guardian.
* Written medication instructions are issued by medical institutions for a fee.
